On Friday, 6th February, the children from 2nd to 6th class attended mass to celebrate St. Brigid’s Day with our grandparents. Fr. Brendan celebrated a lovely Mass which was greatly enjoyed by everyone.
In preparation for this occasion, the children made St. Brigid’s crosses to bring with them on the day. Fr. Brendan blessed the crosses during the mass and the children had the opportunity to present them to the grandparents who were able to attend.
The presence of our grandparents made this celebration even more meaningful and special. It was a really lovely way to mark St. Brigid’s Day together.
