On Friday 6th February our two teams competed in the Credit Union School Quiz in DIFE, Drogheda.
In a tough competition our Senior Whitecross QuizTeam came in just four points behind the winners out of 35 teams. They did extremely well and were disappointed not to get through to the next round. Ciara, Daragh, Seán and Aifric can be very proud of themselves.
In the Junior competition our team can second, beaten by only one point. They were interviewd before the quiz started and the excitment was fierce when we learned that they were leading at half time. The Junior team go forward now to the second round of the competition next month. Good luck to Leah, Henry, Matthew and Eddie with their practise and participation in round 2.
